OUR STORY
MEET OUR FOUNDER
After serving overseas in the Vietnam War, Greg entered the housing industry as a framer in 1973. Always hustling, Greg quickly worked his way up through the ranks and became a General Contractor. At age 25, Greg started his own residential construction company - Breckenridge.
TIMELESS CRAFTSMANSHIP
Greg began developing residential subdivisions all over the greater Seattle area. Breckenridge earned a reputation for building homes with timeless, high quality craftsmanship and began building custom homes in Medina, Bellevue, Queen Anne, Woodinville, Redmond, Sammamish and Chelan.
A FAMILY AFFAIR
Greg’s two sons spent their youth framing on his construction sites and learning the ins and outs of the building process from start to finish. Greg's oldest son, Colin, decided to combine his construction experience with his love for competition, savant-like math skills and passion for real estate and became a Licensed Real Estate Broker in 2014. Colin now runs Breckenridge’s real estate arm with his partner, Jesse Misener.
STUDENT BECOMES THE TEACHER
Brent was born a craftsman. As a toddler, Brent spent hours and hours building the most perfectly crafted Lego houses. Brent has worked every position on a construction site. Finish carpentry is where Brent excels. He is able to apply all the skills that made his lego houses superior to everyone else’s – patience, attention to detail, symmetry, and perfect lines. Brent is now Breckenridge’s General Contractor and Master Carpenter.
